Although we have only a Mac in our office, it has the new Leopard operating system, which is simply one of the best creations from Apple, and although we are pretty smart when it comes to PC protection, we are a little familiar, if it comes to the Mac.
Before the installation of Norton AntiVirus for Mac version 11.0, we removed our previous antivirus and within the shortest possible time, Norton AnitVirus was installed. An SCHMERZLOS much experience as the PC version. After a scan of our hard drives and a brief stop at the official Symantec Update Web site, our system was almost completely infallible and 99.0% protected.
A quick call to a friend who happens to a system administrator for a large university in Australia, we asked if you could send us a multitude of nasties for our Mac, both via e-mail and CDs.
Since our e-mails began to download Norton AntiVirus immediately recognized these threats and unlike its Windows-based brother, we were quite surprised how this process has been reproachless. It passed the test e-mail quite well, now run some infected files!

In summary, Norton AntiVirus for Mac version 11.0 is definitely one of the better antivirus programs available at the moment, but there are a few, with the protection available. However, I must admit that the support offered by Symantec is still one of the best available and all issues are resolved almost immediately with assistance.
